Aara graduated from McMaster University in 2013 and obtained an Honours Bachelor of Science Kinesiology degree. Aara has always had an interest in the Physiotherapy profession since high school, and after volunteering at Toronto Rehab and working as a Physiotherapist Assistant at a clinic for a few years, Aara was able to attend Queen's University's Physiotherapy Program. She will be graduating with a Master's of Science in Physical Therapy degree in the fall of 2017.
Aara strives to be evidence-informed in her practice when providing patient education, manual therapy and exercise prescription to improve quality of life, achieve patients' goals and prevent re-injury.
Aara values continuing education and aspires to refine current skills and learn new ones in order to provide quality patient care. She has already obtained the Diploma of Advanced Orthopaedic Manual and Manipulative Physiotherapy: Level 1.
On her spare time, Aara likes to travel, go hiking, play squash, and cheers on the Toronto Blue Jays, Raptors and Maple Leafs.
