Biography

Daniel graduated from York University in 2010 with an Honors Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology and Health Science. He graduated from Queen's University in 2012 with a Masters of Science in Physical Therapy. While studying, he worked on a critical enquiry project that focused on determining biomechanical differences of sit-to-stand between younger and older adults at the biomechanics lab. The abstract of this project was presented at the Canadian Physiotherapy Association (CPA) congress in 2013 and underwent publication. Currently, Daniel is a clinical instructor with Queen's University as part of the Masters Physical Therapy (MScPT) program and has mentored other students/therapists to help them further advance their skills.

Daniel strongly believes in combining manual therapy, therapeutic taping and exercise prescription/training to treat his patients. He strongly believes in continuing education and has taken courses with the Orthopaedic Division of Canada, ART® (Full body certified and Iron Man provider, Active Release Technique), Acupuncture Foundation of Canada Institute (AFCI), vestibular rehabilitation (introductory and advanced), FMS? (Functional Movement Screen), K-Taping? academy, IASTM (Instrument Assisted Soft-Tissue Mobilization), Advanced Physical Therapy Education Institute (APTEI) and many others to further advance the effectiveness and quality of his treatment. He also has experiencing covering professional events such as the North American Iron Man championships.

Daniel has experience treating sport and work related injuries with various populations and skill levels. On his own time, he enjoys an active lifestyle by lifting weights at the gym, playing basketball and squash.
