Biography

Nick graduated with a Masters degree in Physiotherapy from McMaster in 2014. Prior to this, he obtained a Bachelor's Degree from the University of Windsor, where he also spent 3 years competing as a sprinter on the varsity track and field team.

Nick conducts detailed assessments to identify not only the cause of symptoms, but also the underlying dysfunction that caused the individual to become symptomatic. He believes that this is necessary to achieve a quick and complete recovery, while preventing re-injury. Nick has completed several courses from the Orthopedic Division's Advanced Manual Therapy Curriculum, and is currently half way through Level 3. He has also taken several courses in dry needling, acupuncture, and taping. Nick has both a personal and clinical interest in running and running-related injuries, and has completed training in diagnosing and rehabilitating these injuries.

Nick believes in an eclectic approach to treatment, with an emphasis on manual therapy, dry needling and functional and sport-specific exercise. His past experience as a personal trainer allows him to work with an athlete all the way from the acute phase to the conditioning and return to sport phase.
