Biography

Ty Agha received his undergraduate and graduate degrees from the University of Toronto. He practiced for several years in British Columbia in an outpatient orthopedics setting before returning back to Toronto. While practicing out west, he also completed his Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree in the advanced management of musculoskeletal conditions. He has years of experience as a clinical educator for athletic therapy and physical therapy students and continues to be an adjunct professor at the University of British Columbia in the Department of Physical Therapy, Faculty of Medicine.

Over the years, Ty has worked with a variety of patients, including local sports teams, to provide physical therapy to athletes on the field and in the clinic. He uses an evidence-based approach to treatment which includes a thorough assessment, orthopedic manual therapy, corrective exercise and functional dry needling/IMS. He also emphasizes the importance of regional interdependence and the need to treat the human body as a whole.

In his spare time, Ty enjoys traveling, trying out new restaurants and learning new languages. He is currently learning Japanese!

If you are experiencing pain with any of your daily activities or exercises, feel free to book in with Ty. He can give you a thorough assessment, advise you of your treatment options, come up with a treatment plan with you and start working on getting you back to your goals while managing your symptoms!
