Rebecca is passionate and enthusiastic about active lifestyles and enjoys being able to empower others to feel the same way. She has had experience in acute inpatient units including orthopaedics, general medicine,surgical, and intensive care, as well as working with patients with orthopaedic conditions in a private practice setting. These experiences have given her insight and a greater understanding of the entire recovery process and how she can help each person individually.
Having graduated from McMaster University with an Honours Bachelor of Science (Kinesiology), Rebecca went on to complete her Masters of Science in Physiotherapy at the University of Toronto. She has had post-graduate training in manual therapy, Mckenzie concepts, acupuncture, and sports taping. She is currently working towards completing her manual therapy levels and continuing to expand her knowledge in sport-specific injury prevention and core training.
Rebecca uses a combination of manual therapy techniques, education, and exercises to assist patients in achieing their rehabilitation goals.
In her spare time, Rebecca enjoys playing ultimate frisbee, running, working out, photography, and spending time with family and friends.
