Dr. Marcin Kowalczuk is an Orthopaedic Surgeon with subspecialty fellowship training in upper extremity and trauma surgery as well as sports medicine. Dr. Kowalczuk completed a sports medicine and arthroscopy fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh where he worked with numerous Division I athletes and was part of a team of consultants for the Pittsburgh Penguins and Pittsburgh Steelers. He has also completed a trauma and upper extremity reconstruction fellowship at the University of Toronto, Sunnybrook Health Sciences Center.
Dr. Kowalczuk has authored numerous book chapters and has had research presented both
nationally and internationally. His chief research interests include ligamentous injuries of the knee as well as shoulder conditions in the young athlete.
