Jessica grew up in Northwestern Ontario where she enjoyed camping, hiking, and being outdoors with friends and family. Jessica completed her undergraduate degree in nutrition and dietetics at Western University and completed a Masters of Applied Nutrition and internship at the University of Guelph.
Jessica has always had a passion for food and nutrition. In Jessica's free time, she enjoys going to the gym, running, hiking, cycling, skiing, trying new restaurants, as well as cooking and baking. She enjoys being outside and keeping active. She is a dedicated and motivated nutrition professional who has a special interest in the gastrointestinal system and its related conditions, the effect the gut microbiome has on health, and eating disorders.
Through her dietetic placements, Jessica has shaped her professional practice to encompass and specialize in providing nutrition education and support through evidence-based, client-centered approaches. Jessica is excited to work within the athletic community to assist clients in reaching their nutrition, performance and health goals.
Jessica also has a unique interest in womens health, specifically managing hormonal changes, treating PCOS, gut health, and the female athlete triad. She works alongside women to reach their individualized goals in realistic and manageable ways.
