Registered Physiotherapist Resident
Basic Sport & K-Taping Certification
Pursuing Advanced Diploma in Manipulative Therapy
Shab grew up playing every sport imaginable, and through various injuries in his youth was exposed to physiotherapy from a young age. It was only fitting then that after completing his Honours Kinesiology degree from the University of Waterloo he chose to pursue a career in Physiotherapy at the University of Toronto.
Shabs clinical experience spans across the physiotherapy spectrum, with placements in the cardiovascular intensive care unit, working in outpatient orthopaedics, to completing the Masters program working in the field of vestibular rehabilitation at the Hertz Multidisciplinary Neurotology clinic at Toronto General Hospital.
In addition to his schooling, Shab has obtained his basic sport and k-taping certification and has completed level 1 of the FCAMPT certification process. Now fresh out of school, he is planning to continue his learning through completing courses in medical acupuncture and vestibular rehabilition.
In his spare time, Shab loves to stay active. He is an avid baseball and volleyball player, and is also a travel-junkie he will be climbing Machu Picchu as a graduation trip to celebrate his completion of the MScPT degree.
