Biography
BJ William (Bill) Arvanitis is the co-founder and VP, Business Development of Athlete’s Care Sports Medicine Centres. Bill is also the founder, president, and operator of Arvan Rehab Group Inc. Bill holds a B.Sc (PT) from the University of Toronto, and has 20 plus years as a physiotherapist, including the last 10 years providing rehabilitation services to Long Term Care facilities and Retirement communities across Ontario.
Bill is involved in a volunteer and/or philanthropic leadership capacity in many organizations, including the following:
• Chair, St. John's Rehabilitation Hospital's Foundation Board, in Toronto
• Trustee, West Parry Sound Health Centre and Lakeland Long Term Care Board of Trustees, in Parry Sound, Ontario
• Board Member, Treasurer, Designated Physiotherapy Clinics Association of Ontario, sitting on the MOHLTC's Physiotherapy Steering Committee
• Board member and Vice-President, All Saints Greek Orthodox Church, in Toronto
• Member, Leadership Sinai at Mount Sinai Hospital, in Toronto
