Dr. Stephanie Canestraro graduated with Honors from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College, prior to that she received an Honors Bachelor of Science degree with a major in biochemistry from the University of Western Ontario. She has completed the Contemporary Medical Acupuncture course at McMaster University and is a Certified Active Release Technique® provider.
Dr. Canestraro follows the Functional Integrated Therapy (F.I.T) approach when treating her patients, as she utilizes a number of techniques such as Contemporary Medical Acupuncture, joint manipulation, ART®, Graston techniques and performance optimization taping techniques. Active with continuing education courses, Stephanie continually integrates new techniques to her practice with the aim of improving function and reducing pain in her patients. Dr. Canestraro has worked and trained with the F.I.T. providers at Athlete's Care for the past two years where she has gained clinical experience working with a variety of patient populations.
