Dr. Christine Walton is an Orthopaedic Surgeon certified by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. She recently completed a one-year Fellowship in Upper Extremity Arthroscopy and Arthroplasty in June 2012 through the University of Toronto under the tutelage of Dr. ElMaraghy (St. Joseph’s Healthcare Center) and Dr. Veillette (Toronto Western Hospital).

Christine is involved in both the surgical and non-surgical management of acute and chronic sports injuries with specific interest related to pathology of the shoulder, elbow and wrist. As a previously certified Canadian Athletic Therapist, she has a detailed understanding of the non-operative and rehabilitative side of patient care.

Christine obtained her master’s of science (MSc) and continues to be actively involved in research through the anatomy department at the University of Toronto, as well as teaching at both the medical undergrad and residency level. She is currently a locum staff orthopaedic surgeon, taking trauma call at the Scarborough General Hospital and Humber River Regional Hospitals. Privileges are also extended to St. Joseph’s Healthcare centre, Toronto Western Hospital, and the Stouffville Urgent Care Center.
