Nabila graduated from Leeds Metropolitan University in the United Kingdom with her Masters of Science in Physiotherapy in 2014. Prior to completing her Masters, she graduated with Honours from McMaster University, majoring in Kinesiology. Nabila has since had a passion for working and interacting with people in a rehabilitative setting. She has experience working with a variety of conditions including, but not limited to, shoulder impingement syndrome, patellofemoral syndrome, low back pain, ankle sprains and fractures, lateral epicondylitis (tennis elbow), and carpal tunnel syndrome.
Nabila's approach to treatment is guided by her use of evidence-based practice, with a strong emphasis on the use of education and exercise. Nabila has a keen interest in working with the paediatric population.
Nabila has since completed courses in sports taping, advanced hip rehabilitation and paediatric musculoskeletal conditions. She is currently registered in an acupuncture licensure course and is pursuing additional courses to further her skills in the assessment and treatment of paediatric patients with both neurological and musculoskeletal conditions.
In her off time, Nabila is an active ball hockey and soccer player. She also enjoys hiking and spending time with family and friends.
