Alex completed his Masters in Physical Therapy at the University of Toronto. Prior to this, he obtained his Honors Bachelor of Arts in Kinesiology degree at Western University. Alex has had many experiences that led him to pursue a career in physiotherapy. From working with older adults in retirement homes to coaching athletes with the Western Dragonboat Team, he learned the value of living a lifestyle centered around pain-free movement. Alex believes in a multimodal treatment approach with joint mobilizations, soft tissue release, client education, and targeted exercises focused on treating the root cause of the clients injury.
Alex is currently pursuing his Manual Therapy levels and is planning to complete courses in Acupuncture within the next year. Growing up, Alex played baseball, hockey, soccer, and ran cross country. He values staying physically active and has been dragonboating competitively for the last 5 years. Outside of the clinic, Alex enjoys weight lifting, camping, and travelling.
He is a big sports fan and will often be found watching the Maple Leafs, Raptors, and Blue Jays.
