Biography

Kevin received his Master of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Toronto. He completed his undergraduate degree at the New Jersey Institute of Technology, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Biology while competing as a member of the Men’s Swimming and Diving Team.

His journey into physiotherapy began at the age of 12, when rehabilitation helped him to return to high-level swimming competitions following consecutive knee and wrist injuries. This experience sparked his passion for the profession, which continued to grow as he witnessed the positive impact physiotherapy had on those around him. His personal experiences as a patient continue to serve as motivation to provide high quality, empathetic, patient-centered care

As a CSCA certified swim coach, Kevin developed an appreciation for the importance of proper technique and structured training in achieving progressive improvements in strength, endurance and performance. He applies these principles in his clinical practice, using an evidence-informed, personalized approach to treatment. He incorporates manual therapy, education and therapeutic exercise to improve function and help individuals return to the activities they enjoy while reducing injury risk long-term.

Kevin is passionate about expanding his clinical knowledge and skills through further education in acupuncture and advanced manual therapy training through the orthopaedic division of the CPA.

Outside of the clinic, Kevin enjoys strength training, exploring the city of Toronto, reading and spending time with family and friends.
