Maya enjoys staying active through running, Pilates, yoga and strength training. She has a genuine love for movement in all its forms and is always exploring new ways to stay active. Maya also deeply values quality time with family and friends and spending time outdoors, whether it's hiking, biking or enjoying a picnic.
Maya is a Physiotherapy Resident and graduate of the University of Toronto's Master of Science in Physical Therapy program. She holds an Honours Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Queen's University, where she developed a strong foundation in exercise science and rehabilitation.
Maya is passionate about helping people of all ages feel their best and return to the activities they love. Her approach is grounded in the biopsychosocial model and combines manual therapy, movement-based rehabilitation, and patient education to support long-term recovery. She is committed to creating a collaborative and supportive environment where clients feel heard, empowered, and actively involved in their care. Maya has a special interest in running, fitness, and women's health, and is dedicated to helping women feel strong, capable, and confident in their bodies.
