Biography
Aara graduated from McMaster University with an Honours Bachelor of Science Kinesiology degree and obtained her Master's of Science in Physical Therapy degree from Queen's University.
Aara strives to be evidence-informed in her practice when providing patient education, manual therapy and exercise prescription to improve quality of life, achieve patients' goals and prevent re-injury.
Aara values continuing education and aspires to refine current skills and learn new ones in order to provide quality patient care. She has taken courses in Functional Integrated Acupuncture for Acute and Chronic Pain Management, and Introduction to Vestibular Rehabilitation. She has already obtained the Diploma of Advanced Orthopaedic Manual and Manipulative Physiotherapy: Level 1.
On her spare time, Aara likes to travel, go hiking, play squash, and cheers on the Toronto Blue Jays, Raptors and Maple Leafs.
