Anthony attained a Bachelor of Science at Queen's University and his Master of Science in Physical Therapy at the University of Toronto. He has a strong interest in working with athletes and sports medicine and is currently a candidate for his Sport Physiotherapy Certificate. A big believer in exercise and patient-directed care, Anthony combines manual therapy, exercise prescription and patient education in his sessions with patients. He values listening to and collaborating with his patients to ensure their needs are understood and clear goals are formed in their rehab.
Anthony has taken courses in personal training, concussion treatment and management, manual therapy, taping, emergency first aid, contemporary medical acupuncture, low back pain, and is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS®) with the National Strength and Conditioning Association®. He has covered numerous sporting events acting as an emergency first responder, including field and box lacrosse, basketball, football, soccer, ice hockey, figure skating, and wrestling. In addition, he currently serves as the team trainer for a local Midget AA ice hockey team.
Outside of work, you'll usually find Anthony reading a good book in a cafe, playing basketball and tennis with his friends, doing runs by the lakeshore, or attending culinary classes at George Brown College.
