Ben is a Registered Dietitian and Sports Dietitian. He received his education from Ryerson Universitys School of Nutrition and graduated his Dietetic Internship from the Sunnybrook Dietetics Internship Program in 2010. He received a Sports Dietitian Certificate from the Sports Dietitians of Australia and is currently pursuing Ryersons Physical Activity Assessment and Promotion certificate program and the International Olympic Committees Sports Nutrition Diploma. On top of being a Sports Dietitian, Ben previously worked as a Personal Trainer, which allows him to practically understand exercise and nutrition in combination. This combination of the world of Nutrition and Dietetics along with Physical Activity and Exercise is what makes Ben's interventions truly unique and customized.
Ben is also an athlete himself. When hes not training for his next marathon, bike race, lifting weights or doing cross-fit workouts hes busy cooking up a storm developing recipes for athletes. Ben has worked with athletes from every end of the spectrum, from weekend warriors aiming to complete their first marathon to nationally ranked professional athletes to Olympic gold medalists and even celebrities! He specializes in endurance events and weight lifting but is more than qualified to work with any sport and medical conditions. He also trained as a Chef and a Pastry Chef in a number of Restaurants and Hotels across Toronto before combining the culinary world with dietetics and sport. He continues to travel the world, studying different cultures, cuisines and cooking styles in order to best serve his clients.
