Biography

Brendan is a creative, passionate, and engaging physiotherapist. He provides a comprehensive and detailed analysis of his patients and creates an individualized treatment plan based on his client's specific goals.

Brendan's appreciation and understanding of the function of the human body began with his active lifestyle. Brendan grew up in Richmond Hill, where he played competitive hockey, soccer, and golf. His experience in high level athletics showed him the potential of the human body, and has driven him to extract that potential from each patient he treats.

Brendan attended York University where he completed a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with honours. During his undergrad, he had volunteered his time in a human physiology lab, which allowed him to connect his understanding of biomechanics with his knowledge of human physiology. He also spent his time working as a Kinesiologist at a sport injury clinic, where he further developed his skills in sport specific rehabilitation. Brendan went on to complete a Master of Science in Physical Therapy from Glasgow Caledonian University in Scotland. While studying, Brendan worked with professional rugby teams to provide in-game assessments and treatments. Brendan completed his thesis on developing a meta-analysis of fast-track total knee replacements to help reduce length of stay at hospitals for post-op patients.

Since beginning his career in Toronto, Brendan has completed the Contemporary Medical Acupuncture Program at McMaster University. His training has allowed him to utilize acupuncture in conjunction with manual therapy and exercise rehabilitation.
