Contemporary Medical Acupuncture
Christine completed her Master of Science in Physical Therapy at the University of Toronto and Honours Bachelors degree in Health Sciences at McMaster University.
She has returned to McMaster to complete her training in Contemporary Medical Acupuncture. She has had much success treating injuries and pain using the biopsychosocial model and functional impairments through manual therapy, exercise therapy, and acupuncture. She has also completed courses in vestibular rehabilitation and functional rehabilitation.
Christine is passionate about helping people restore movement, strength, and confidence with activities that are meaningful to them. She always strives to provide the best care for her clients. She has experience treating sports injuries, fractures, post-operative conditions, concussion, and motor vehicle accidents. She also treats gradual progression of joint/muscle pain related to overuse or functional impairments. She conducts a thorough assessment to identify contributing factors and addresses the pertinent factors with the client through a collaborative approach.
Aside from sports, Christine loves music and dance and enjoys creating her own choreographies!
