Biography
Janvi graduated with a Masters of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Toronto. Prior, she completed her Honours Bachelor of Health Science degree at Wilfrid Laurier University with a double minor in human biology and chemistry. Her passion for physiotherapy stems from a genuine love for the human body. Janvi considers the whole person when developing individualized treatment plans and encourages active participation to attain goals.
She has completed additional courses in Functional Intramuscular Stimulation (FIMs), vestibular therapy, concussion management, and managing neurological conditions. Her experience includes working in various ICUs at Sunnybrook Hospital, SickKids Hospital, St Michael's Hospital in addition to private neurological and orthopaedic clinics. Her treatments include using a combination of hands-on manual therapy, myofascial release, cupping, dry needling, acupuncture, kinesio-taping, functional exercise prescription alongside education to optimize patient outcomes.
