Biography

Joseph graduated from the Physiotherapy Program at The University of Western Ontario in 2003. Since that time he has worked in a wide variety of clinical settings from small, rural practices to large, multidisciplinary Sports Medicine practices. He has come to the Mississauga area after working in a private clinic on campus at The University of Waterloo for the past 8 years.

Since finishing university he has continued to make learning a priority. With an interest in a diverse variety of training, Joseph has taken continuing education courses in traditional Orthopedic Manual Therapy, Craniosacral Therapy, Applied Kinesiology, Trigenics and is certified in Acupuncture through the AFCI. Recently he has taken some training in Post Concussion management. Using his experience he aims to customize his treatments to the individual needs of the people who come to see him.

Joseph's basic philosophy and approach to Physiotherapy is that the human body is generally designed and programmed to heal and repair itself. He sees his role as a Physiotherapist is to help support the body's own healing process, remove the barriers to healing, and to help the person to achieve their goals. Using a holistic approach to his practice, Joseph believes that in addition to treating areas of pain it is important to look deeper to try and identify core issues requiring attention.

He is happiest in his practice when he is problem solving with people to keep them participating in the activities of their lives. He enjoys helping people of all ages and problems to work toward their future goals.
