Biography

Katherine graduated with a Master of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Toronto. Prior to entering her master's, Katherine completed her Honours Bachelor of Science in Human Biology at the same university. During both degrees, Katherine worked as a student researcher in the Human Anatomy Department at the University of Toronto and was able to contribute to a number of research projects aiming to further understand the intricacies of the human body.

Through physiotherapy, she has been able to apply this in-depth anatomical knowledge to her understanding of the complexity of movement and how injuries can affect our ability to function. Katherine uses manual therapy techniques, medical acupuncture and exercise prescription to help clients feel better and achieve their goals. She has focused on employing a holistic patient-centered approach to help each patient work towards individual goals using treatment plans that fit their unique lifestyles.

Katherine has taken additional training in pelvic health to address concerns ranging from urinary incontinence to pelvic pain. She is also a part of the Runner's Program at Athlete's Care aimed to help runners achieve their goals by treating or helping to avoid injuries, and training principles to prepare for your next race.

Outside of work, Katherine loves to enjoy an active life in the city and can be found biking around town, playing squash, catching a yoga class, or strolling through parks. She understands the personal importance of hobbies and is passionate about helping people return to the activities they love.
