Marcos has been dedicated to physiotherapy for over 21 years and feels that each year, he is blessed with the ability to gain more knowledge and expertise to offer his patients.
After graduating in Physiotherapy in Brazil in December 2003, he pursued a formal 1-year specialization in Neurological Physiotherapy. In 2011, he immigrated to Canada and completed his professional equivalence in Physiotherapy at the same time as his Master's Degree in Rehabilitation Sciences at McGill University in 2015.
In continuous pursuit of improvement and diversification of his career portfolio, he obtained his MBA in Strategic Management of People and Sustainable Organizations from the University of Sao Paulo in December 2024.
Marcos is committed to providing the highest standard of care and believes that every patient is a whole project, with individual needs and personal aspirations. His practice reflects this belief, incorporating various resources, including education, pain management, chronic and acute rehabilitation, and home care instructions, ensuring patients are active participants in their recovery. He is fluent in Portuguese, English, French, and Spanish, which allows him to communicate effectively with a diverse patient base.
Despite having a busy life as a single father of three beautiful kids, Marcos always finds time for his faith and feeding his insatiable curiosity. When not working, Marcos is actively involved in his community and is particularly passionate about exercising and the role of physical activity in physical and mental health. He also enjoys participating in volunteer activities and cultural pursuits, particularly music and art. He is passionate about his profession and continually seeks ways to enhance his skills and knowledge to serve his patients better. Whether working with infants or seniors, athletes or he strives to offer wellness and acute care tailored to everyone.
