Biography

Just like a lot of regular gym-goers, Tommy used to have nagging recurring pain from injuries sustained from exercises. He became frustrated as the various practitioners he saw was not able to make them go away, and these injuries prevented him to consistently exercise for physical and mental well-being. This all changed when he saw an effective massage therapist, and subsequently Tommy decided to take up the craft to help others who are in the same situation as he was.

After graduating from Sutherland-Chan School of Massage Therapy and becoming a Registered Massage Therapist, Tommy also became a Level 1 Fascial Stretch Therapist. Tommy believes the nervous system plays an integral role in how we perceive musculoskeletal pain and tightness. Using slow, rhythmic, and firm pressure, he aims to gradually relax the nervous system so it can release tight muscles and joints.

From his experience, he realizes lasting changes come from a combination of passive and active remedies, so be sure to ask him about self-care exercises best suited for your condition.

Tommy's interests include carrying heavy equipment on his back high above sea-level, and sometimes deep below sea-level as well.
