Biography
Ying Shan is a Registered Massage Therapist with over seven years of clinical experience. She graduated with a diploma from the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy and has completed internships at several leading hospitals, including Toronto General Hospital, SickKids Hospital, Sunnybrook Hospital, and North York General Hospital.
In addition to massage therapy, Ying is also a Registered Acupuncturist. She earned her diploma from the Pharma Medical Science College of Canada and has two years of practice experience integrating acupuncture treatments into her patient care plans.
Ying's treatment philosophy centers on providing personalized care for each patient through thorough consultation, assessment, and treatment planning. She utilizes a wide range of therapeutic techniques including Swedish, trigger point therapy, myofascial release, lymphatic drainage, joint mobilization, PNF stretching, cupping therapy, and Tuina. Her clinical experience includes working with patients experiencing muscle tension, chronic pain, stress, post-surgical recovery, and pregnancy-related concerns.
She strongly believes that anyone wishing to study medicine must master the art of massage targeting tension, restoring balance.
