Biography

Andrea is an Osteopathic Manual Practitioner (M.OMSc) who originally graduated from McMaster Commerce program and after several years working in the pharmaceutical industry went on to attain her 4 years masters in Osteopathic Manipulative Science. Through her extensive osteopathic manual therapy training, as well as her experience as a coach, athlete and yoga instructor, Andrea brings a wealth of experience to the analysis and treatment of her patients.

Considering her passion for athletics, specifically volleyball, and her experience coaching both snowboarding as well as swimming, Andrea has had the opportunity to work with high performance athletes for the duration of her career. Over the past few years she has been asked to attend events ranging from USAV in Kentucky as a men's open team therapist, to OVA-Satellite tournaments in the GTA, as well as a private therapist for Olympic level athletes.

Over the past decade she has written several articles on holistic healing and her recent article on 'understanding body mechanics' was published in the yoga conference magazine. As a yoga instructor and functional anatomy lecturer, Andrea has been invited to teach a variety of workshops at The Yoga Conference and Show, held annually in both Toronto and in the past British Columbia.

She has been featured on CityTV-Breakfast TV several times as well as featured in Modern Mississauga Magazine, 29-secrets online magazine and more.
