Annika is a Physiotherapy Resident and a recent graduate of the University of Toronto's Master of Science in Physical Therapy program. With prior experience as a Kinesiologist and completion of a Bachelor of Science with Honors Specialization in Kinesiology from Western University, she brings a strong background in movement-based rehabilitation and exercise science.
She has worked with clients of all ages and across various stages of recovery, from acute care to private practice and chronic pain management. Annika is passionate about supporting people in returning to the activities that bring them joy, whether in sport, work, or everyday movement. She is currently pursuing advanced training in pelvic health and is excited to integrate this area into her clinical practice.
Annika's approach is individualized and rooted in the biopsychosocial model of care. She combines manual therapy techniques, exercise, and education to empower clients as active participants in their rehabilitation. She strives to create a safe and supportive environment for each client, recognizing their unique goals and lived experience in their own bodies. Outside of work, Annika enjoys spending time outdoors, gardening, and playing volleyball, pickleball, and golf.
