Carmen completed her Masters of Physical Therapy at Western University. Prior to this, she attended the University of British Columbia for her Bachelors of Science, majoring in Biology with a minor in Kinesiology.
Carmens approach includes therapeutic exercise, education and manual therapy. She believes in empowering her patients to take an active role in their recovery by providing the tools and knowledge for a successful recovery. She considers herself a lifelong learner and plans to complete coursework in dry needling and manual therapy.
Her passion for physiotherapy began when she was a patient, due to injuries from playing field hockey, basketball and soccer. With first-hand experience of an ACL reconstruction and most recently, an achilles rupture, she knows the impact an injury can have on ones well being. She is dedicated to getting her patients back to doing what they love and preventing future injuries.
In her spare time, Carmen enjoys going to the gym, running, watching basketball and traveling.
