Biography
Dr. Mohammed Aamir Saiyed is a dual board-certified physician in Family Medicine and Sports Medicine, licensed to practice in both Canada and the United States. He completed his medical training in the U.S., where he gained extensive experience working with NCAA Division I athletics at Marshall University, as well as regional wrestling and boxing events.
Dr. Saiyed has a special interest and expertise in Soccer Medicine. He holds certification in FIFA Football Medicine and has worked closely with collegiate and elite-level soccer teams, providing comprehensive care across injury prevention, acute injury management, and return-to-play decision-making.
His clinical expertise includes non-operative orthopedic care, diagnostic musculoskeletal ultrasound, ultrasound-guided procedures, and regenerative therapies such as platelet-rich plasma (PRP) and viscosupplementation. Dr. Saiyed is dedicated to evidence-based, patient-centered care with a focus on restoring function and optimizing performance for athletes and active individuals of all ages.
Dr. Saiyed provides consultative Sports Medicine care for a broad range of musculoskeletal conditions, including acute injuries, overuse syndromes, and chronic joint pain. He works closely with amateur and professional athletes to develop individualized, sport-specific treatment and rehabilitation plans.
Beyond clinical practice, Dr. Saiyed is passionate about sports, community outreach, and medical education. He remains actively engaged in continuing professional development and is committed to advancing access to high-quality Sports Medicine care throughout Ontario.
