Dr. Adam Manis received his medical degree from Laval University in 2012. He completed his residency training in Family Medicine at McGill University and subsequently completed a fellowship in Sport and Exercise Medicine at the University of Toronto under the mentorship of some of the best and most experienced sports medicine doctors in the country.
Since finishing his training, Dr. Manis has been a team physician at the University of Toronto where he sees varsity athletes as well as students. He is a team doctor for the Brampton Beast of the East Coast Hockey League. He was a lead physician for the 2015 Pan Am Games, has worked with and travelled internationally with Canadian junior men’s national basketball teams, was a host physician at the 2016-17 World Junior Hockey Championship and was a host physician at the 2018 Roger’s Cup tennis tournament. Besides being proficient in both acute and chronic musculoskeletal injuries, Adam is also very well trained in concussion management.
Adam has played baseball at the varsity level for both McGill and the University of Toronto. He remains very active by playing tennis, running, cycling, and snowboarding. Adam is passionate about healthy living and believes that the importance sport and exercise cannot be underestimated.
