Dr. Daniel Hoppe is an orthopaedic surgeon who has a special interest in sports medicine and the arthroscopic treatment of injuries to the hip, shoulder, and knee. He also treats non-operative sports injuries, fractures and arthritis.
Dr. Hoppe grew up in Hamilton, Ontario and completed both his medical degree (MD) and orthopaedic surgery residency (FRCSC) at McMaster University.
After residency, Dr. Hoppe completed a Sports Medicine Fellowship in California at Stanford University, where he helped care for Stanfords Division I athletes and the San Francisco 49ers.
He is currently completing a second fellowship in sports medicine and arthroscopy at the University of Toronto and is accepting new patients.
