Dr. Ida Cavaliere graduated from the University of Waterloo with a Bachelor of Science, Honours Kinesiology, Pre-Health Professions Option Cooperative Program, and medical degree from Ross University. She completed her five-year residency program in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (Physiatry) at the University of Toronto. She is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons of Canada and a Canadian Society of Clinical Neurophysiologists Diplomate in Electromyography (EMG).
As a Physiatrist, Dr. Cavaliere sees a variety of patients with general rehabilitation, musculoskeletal, and peripheral nerve issues in her practice. Her primary clinical practice area is adult musculoskeletal, sports medicine and electromyography.
She enjoys an active lifestyle including snowboarding, golf, and a variety of other sports which helps shape her understanding of injuries, recovery and return to play. She also enjoys teaching medical students and residents.
