Dr. Wadhwa was born in Calgary, Alberta, and completed his medical school in the United Kingdom at the Hull York Medical School. After completing his hospital based Junior Doctor year after medical school, he returned to Calgary to complete his Family Medicine Residency. He then proceeded to complete a fellowship in Sports and Exercise Medicine at the University of Alberta in Edmonton in 2019.
Dr. Wadhwa is a strong proponent of maintaining a healthy and active lifestyle. He enjoys working with patients of all ages to stay active in the sports and activities that they enjoy. Dr. Wadhwa treats a variety of acute and chronic musculoskeletal conditions, and is proficient in a range of injections, including cortisone, hyaluronic acid joint injections and trigger point injections.
Dr. Wadhwa has first-hand experience working athletes in a wide breadth of different sports and levels. He was a team physician with the University of Alberta Mens Football team and NAIT Mens Hockey. He also has side-line experience with Rugby and ring-side experience with Wrestling, Judo, Karate and Boxing.
