With over 20 years of sound, certified, dedicated practice as a Registered Massage Therapist (R.M.T), Fiona Clarke is a dynamo, whose energy and proactive approaches aim to customize each clients massage to alleviate specific symptoms and achieve optimal results.
Graduating from Kikkawa College in 2001, Fiona has been an active member of the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO). She is also qualified in a variety of techniques such as Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation (P.N.F), Active Isolated Stretching (A.I.S), Gait analysis, therapeutic ultrasound, and Reiki. Furthermore, she holds all required certifications and is also a labor support provider (Doula) and has successfully assisted in multiple births.
It is her widespread knowledge and capability that allows Fiona to tailor each of her clients program according to their individual needs and recovery. Fionas welcoming and professional demeanor has allowed her to continuously work with a spectrum of clients, many of which include professional athletes that include but are not limited to, athletes in the N.H.L, N.B.A, P.G.A, as well as stunt doubles in the film industry and several leading Hollywood action stars.
Furthering her scope of understanding the importance of a balanced body and mind, Fiona boosts her numerous qualifications having spent over 5 years studying a variety of mental health and addictions courses such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (C.B.T) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (D.B.T). Fiona has volunteered her time working hands-on in the field by offering therapeutic massages to marginalized clients.
Fiona is committed to using her knowledge from such communication therapy courses to maintain an approachable, trusted, and always confidential environment; one in which her clientele has appreciated and benefitted from for over two decades.
Fiona attributes her interest in sports medicine to her familial upbringing, being raised by both a professional athlete and licensed physiotherapist, as well as her own athletic and gymnastic achievements. Fiona Clarke embraces new and returning clientele with a high degree of expertise and dedication. By using numerous techniques and personalizing each treatment plan as required, she takes pride in her work and always guarantees professionalism and confidentiality, in the comfort of a safe, clean, respectful, and most relaxing environment.
