Haider earned his Masters of Physiotherapy Studies from the University of Queensland in Brisbane, Australia. Prior to that, he graduated from York University, where he received a Specialized Honours Bachelor of Arts degree in Kinesiology and Health Sciences. Haider has also completed numerous professional development courses, earning him certifications in neurofunctional acupuncture, concussion management, manual therapy and more. He also enjoys staying involved in sports by serving as a therapist for teams and sporting events including basketball, rugby, soccer and figure skating.
Haider believes in a thorough and comprehensive assessment of his patients to identify opportunities to improve their function. He works collaboratively with them and provides a treatment plan to help achieve their goals. Treatments include individualized therapeutic exercise, manual therapy such as joint mobilizations and soft tissue release, and neurofunctional acupuncture. Emphasis is also placed on providing advice and education which empowers the patient in their own rehabilitation and equips them with the tools necessary to lead a healthier life.
In his free time, Haider stays active by participating in several sports including basketball, softball, boxing and Muay Thai and he enjoys spending quality time with his family and friends
