A graduate from Sutherland Chan Massage Therapy School and Teaching Clinic, as well as a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology and Health Science from York University.
James has worked in a variety of treatment settings and treated many types of individuals, from those with acute or chronic injuries, to those in post-operative care, to professional athletes. He enjoys treating a wide range of cases and creating individual treatment plans specifically for each client. His goal is to not only treat, but educate and bring awareness to clients about their specific conditions, while meeting the goals of each individual client.
He feels that regular massage therapy treatments can alleviate pain, rebalance mental and physical states, and improve ones overall well-being, all helping to improve ones functional abilities and performance. He uses a variety of Swedish, myofascial, deep-tissue, and stretching techniques to help his clients achieve this goal.
Outside of massage therapy:
Once a competitive level athlete, James now coaches club volleyball in the Mississauga and Etobicoke areas. He still stays active by playing volleyball and basketball, swimming, and practicing yoga. He also holds certificates in Culinary Arts, which helps himself, and his clients, make wiser and healthy food choices.
