Location: Adelaide & York

Julia graduated from the University of Toronto with a Masters of Science in Physical Therapy. Prior to this, she graduated from the University of British Columbia with a Bachelor of Kinesiology. Her passion for rehabilitation stems from her love for sports, and experience working as a kinesiologist and athletic trainer for the UBC Women's Varsity Ice Hockey team. Her main mission is to help get her patients moving and back to enjoying the things they love. Julia utilizes a patient-centered and biopsychosocial approach and collaborates with her patients to provide specific and individualized care. Treatments consist of education, manual therapy, soft tissue work, exercise, dry needling, acupuncture and lifestyle modification.

Additionally, Julia has a passion for pelvic health, and has taken Pelvic levels 1 to 3, including additional courses. Julia is dedicated to creating a safe space for her patients, where they feel listened to, supported, and empowered to embark on their pelvic health journey. She provides a holistic assessment and treatment to help her patients thrive. Julia's training and interests includes pelvic pain, incontinence, painful intercourse, constipation, coccydynia, prolapse, diastasis recti, and guiding clients through their pregnancy and postpartum journey.

Outside of the clinic, Julia loves to stay active through fitness classes, running, hiking, and cycling. She recently caught the travel bug and is looking to broaden her understanding of the world and herself through travel.
