Kelsey received her Master's in Physiotherapy from the University of Toronto. Prior to this, she obtained an Honors Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Western University. She has completed post-graduate coursework in soft tissue release and has successfully completed her Level 1 Manual Therapy certification in Advanced Orthopaedic Manual and Manipulative Physiotherapy.
Kelsey grew up playing a variety of sports and eventually went on to play Women's Football at the university level. Throughout her undergraduate degree, she was given the opportunity to work as a student athletic trainer with athletes from Western University women's rugby team and Hockey Canada. Throughout her experiences in athletics, as both player and trainer, Kelsey has developed a great understanding of how frustrating an injury can be. As such, she is passionate about helping individuals return to the activities they find meaningful, whether it be playing with their grandchildren or returning to competitive sport.
Kelseys approach to treatment is always catered to the individual and their unique goals. She works to optimize function and alleviate pain through a combination of manual therapy, individualized exercise programs and patient education. In the coming years, Kelsey plans to continue her professional development by completing further training in acupuncture and manual therapy.
Outside of work, Kelsey enjoys staying active by playing football, hiking and cycling. She also enjoys live music, photography and reading (book recommendations are always welcome!).
