Biography

Linda graduated from the University of Western Ontario in 2003 with an Honors degree in Kinesiology. She then moved to Perth Australia where she graduated with a Masters in Physiotherapy degree from Curtin University in 2006.

After graduating, Linda moved back to Canada and worked in private practice while obtaining her Intermediate Manual Therapy Diploma with the Orthopaedic Division of The Canadian Physiotherapy Association. She also completed Level 3 with the Acupuncture Foundation of Canada Institute, and Level 3 Lyn Watson shoulder courses.

In 2010 she moved back to Australia (Townsville) where she continued to work in private practice and took on the role as a Senior Physiotherapist. Linda supervised and mentored the junior staff and was responsible for all the professional development.

While living in Townsville, Linda completed the Sports Thorax course (Lee, LJ) and was excited to see how effective LJ’s methods were in treating the cause of the dysfunction versus just managing the symptoms. In 2013 she spent a year completing The Discover Physio Series (Lee & Lee) then further refined her skills by completing Part 4 of the Connect Therapy Series in 2016 (Lee, LJ).
Linda’s passionate about helping people return to whatever bring them joy. She works closely with her clients to develop effective treatment plans that area specific to the individual. She incorporates a high level of manual therapy and acupuncture into her treatment approach.

Outside of the clinic Linda is an avid runner, enjoys yoga, and spending time with her husband and two little girls. With their recent move back to Canada they plan on travelling, camping and enjoying everything Canada has to offer.
