Mackenzie is a graduate of the Master of Physical Therapy program from the University of Western Ontario. Prior to this, he completed his Bachelor of Science degree at Queens University with a specialization in Life Sciences. He has also completed continuing education courses in lower extremity exercise prescription, acupuncture/dry needling, functional range conditioning, and has obtained his level 1 manual therapy diploma.
Mackenzie works to empower his patients by taking an evidence-based patient-centered approach to physical rehabilitation. This involves a combination of manual therapy techniques, acupuncture/dry needling, therapeutic exercise, and providing education/recommendations regarding activity modification. He plans to continue his professional development by obtaining further training manual therapy, acupuncture/dry needling, myofascial release, and concussion/vestibular rehabilitation.
Outside of the clinic Mackenzies personal interests include lifting weights at the gym and playing guitar/bass.
