Biography

Matthew graduated from York University in 2011 with a Batchelor of Science with Honours in Kinesiology and Health Sciences. He became certified as a Strengthening and Conditioning Specialist from the National Strengthening and Conditioning Association. He then graduated from Queens University in 2015 with a Masters of Science in Physical Therapy.

Matthew has extensive post graduate training, including McMaster’s Neurofunctional Sports Performance programs. He has hands on training from one of the worlds leading back pain specialists, Dr. Stu Mcgill. Matthew has also completed courses in manual therapy and spinal manipulation therapy.

Matthew emphasizes a neurofunctional approach to assessment and treatment. He utilizes soft tissue techniques, manual therapy, neurofunctional acupuncture, and activity specific exercise prescription to get patients back to the activities they enjoy as quickly as possible.
