Nastassia graduated with a Master of Science in Physical Therapy at Queen's University. Her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology at York University as well as her concurrent experience volunteering with the Jane & Finch community at Black Creek Community Health Centre drew her inspiration for Physiotherapy. She is so excited to have returned to the community within York University to give back.
Nastassia is committed to lifelong education and clinical skill development. She believes motivation is the key to living up to her maximum potential, and motivation comes easy to her because she absolutely loves what she does. Nastassia's treatment approach is focused primarily around patient education, exercise prescription and correction, and manual therapy. She believes rehabilitation should be as personalized as the individual being cared for!
In addition to being a Physiotherapy Resident, Nastassia is passionate about Latin, Caribbean and African dance styles and enjoys biking, beach volleyball and weight lifting.
