Nathania completed her MSc in Physical Therapy at the University of Toronto after finishing her BSc in Kinesiology at the University of Waterloo. Nathania's passion for sharing knowledge and promoting a healthy lifestyle led her to pursue physiotherapy; she enjoys empowering patients with accurate health information and providing patients with strategies to optimize their recovery between sessions. She hopes to help you develop better self-awareness of your body and the way it moves. Her ultimate goal is to equip you with the tools you need to play an active role in your rehab journey.
Nathania focuses on functional movement analysis and individualized exercise prescription, along with the use of soft tissue release, manual therapy, and neurofunctional acupuncture. Nathania is eager to combine her expertise with your insight to help you get back to the things you love to do and prevent risk of injury in the future.
As an avid runner and triathlete, Nathania is part of the Runner's Program. She offers advice for injury recovery and prevention, optimizing running mechanics, and building training plans.
Nathania is a rostered Pelvic Health physiotherapist and provides care to individuals assigned female at birth (AFAB). She can help with issues such as incontinence, leakage, pain with sexual activity, prolapse, pelvic/hip pain, and low back pain. She also provides prenatal and postpartum care, including labour and delivery prep. Nathania is trained in the STOTT Pilates method and enjoys incorporating both Mat and Reformer Pilates principles in her practice.
Outside of the clinic, Nathania can be found at the gym, in a dance class, or in the kitchen, cooking and baking for loved ones!
