Biography

Nathania completed her Master of Science in Physical Therapy at the University of Toronto after finishing her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology at the University of Waterloo. Nathania's passion for sharing knowledge and promoting a healthy lifestyle led her to pursue physiotherapy; she enjoys empowering patients with accurate health information and providing patients with strategies to optimize their recovery between sessions. She hopes to help you develop better self-awareness of your body and the way it moves. Her ultimate goal is to equip you with the tools you need to play an active role in your rehab journey.

Nathania has a love for team sports and cooperative board games, and this spirit of collaboration carries over to her approach with patients. She sees each assessment and treatment session as a collaborative problem solving session, in which you work as a team to develop a plan that addresses your needs and lifestyle. Nathania is eager to combine her expertise with your insight to help you get back to the things you love to do and prevent risk of injury in the future. Throughout her life, Nathania has worked with a variety of individuals in a broad range of settings, from university varsity athletes to weekend warriors to geriatric patients in long term care. Whether you're dealing with a nagging injury from years of overuse or a fresh injury off the field, Nathania will help to address the root cause of your issue.

Outside of the clinic, Nathania can be found at the gym, at a salsa dancing social, or in the kitchen, cooking and baking for loved ones! Ask her about her favourite Toronto restaurants and her foodie bucket list! She is currently on the hunt for Toronto's best London Fog and is open to suggestions for her next taste test!
