Physiotherapy Resident

Biography

Rachel is a Physiotherapy Resident and a graduate of the University of Toronto's Master of Science in Physical Therapy Program. She also holds an Honours Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Guelph, where her studies focused on human health, movement, and evidence-based care.

When Rachel began her running journey two years ago, she quickly learned how training mistakes can affect both the body and overall enjoyment of the sport. This experience shaped her interest in supporting runners of all levels through injury and recovery, with a focus on helping them develop a positive, sustainable relationship with running and physical activity. She also enjoys working with people of all ages and abilities to help them get back to doing what they love while staying strong and active throughout their lifespan.

Rachel loves getting to know her clients personally and emphasizes a client-centred approach to treatment, while integrating manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and education into her sessions.

Outside of the clinic, Rachel loves staying active through spin classes, Pilates, and strength training, and is constantly exploring new forms of movement and exercise in the city. This year, she is focused on entering the triathlon space and looking forward to starting training later in the year.
