Sean completed his Master of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Toronto. He brings a wealth of educational and life experience to his role as a physiotherapist. He previously completed a Bachelor of History and Spanish at Queen's University, followed by a Master of Arts and 4 years of a PhD in Social and Political Thought at York University. During this time, he was the recipient of several major research awards and published in peer-review journals. Sean brings this love of learning and attention to detail to his role as a physiotherapist

Furthermore, Sean's 15+ year background in martial arts, yoga, and meditation inform his approach to physiotherapy practice. He believes that relaxation, breathing, and movement can combine powerfully to support recovery and rehabilitation. Sean utilizes a combination of manual therapy, active rehabilitation through exercise, and education to support his clients in their recovery and healing journeys. He has a special interest in helping clients to overcome chronic pain. He regularly completes continuing education courses in both manual therapy and chronic pain to enhance his practice.

Sean is committed to bringing respect, compassion, and positivity to both his professional and personal relationships. Outside of the clinic you'll find him engaged in carpentry projects, spending time with his family, and trying to appreciate the simple things in life.
