Vanessa Foucher has over 10 years of experience as a Physiotherapist. She holds both a Master's degree in Physical Therapy and a Kinesiology Undergraduate degree from McGill University. Vanessa continues to maintain her extensive experience and expertise with higher level manual therapy courses from the APQMO (Quebec), concussion rehabilitations and Sport First Aid. Vanessa is also registered with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario.
Vanessa has spent much of her career in elite professional sport specializing in return-to-sport rehabilitation at several clinics in both Canada and the UK, most notably with Chelsea Football Club as an Academy Physiotherapist. Having been a competitive athlete herself for 17 years focusing in middle distance swimming and synchronized swimming, Vanessa has a unique understanding of top level sport and its demands.
Vanessa also has a secondary niche rehabilitation focus in Hydrotherapy where she has previously worked with the Canadian Olympic Alpine skiers to prepare them for the 2012 Sochi Winter Games. She sees a variety of patients with orthopaedic sport injuries, pre- and post-operative, chronic pain and postural deficits.
In her spare time she likes to downhill ski, bake, hit the gym and go on hikes with her kids.
