Victoria emigrated from Scotland to Canada in 2014 to pursue a career in the health field after falling in love with running at the age of 16. Victoria is a graduate of Sutherland-Chan School of Massage Therapy and current student of the Contemporary Medical Acupuncture Program at McMaster University.
Victoria firmly believes that evidence-based massage therapy is an integral part of any health care regime. Whether it be for injury prevention, injury rehabilitation or purely for relaxation - massage can benefit everyone. With this in mind she is continually looking for ways to expand her knowledge through continuing education.
Over the years Victoria has completed four full marathons on two different continents along with numerous half marathons and 10Ks. Victoria is acutely aware of the effects that high levels of activity can have on the human body therefor she carefully listens to her patients and considers all of their biomechanical and physiological needs before implementing an individualized treatment plan to help assist in their goals and aspirations.
Victoria has worked with a wide range of patients including athletes at the Invictus Games, Toronto Waterfront and Goodlife Marathon's and Toronto Triathlon Festival. Along with having treated patients with a variety of nervous system disorders, seniors and pregnant persons.
