Jennifer graduated with a Masters of Physical Therapy from the University of Manitoba, after obtaining a prior Bachelors degree in Kinesiology, also from the University of Manitoba.
Jennifer has acquired experience working with a variety of conditions, from sports related injuries, to motor vehicle and work place accidents, post surgical conditions, degenerative conditions, as well as everyday sprains and strains. She takes a very hands-on approach to therapy utilizing a variety of mobilizations and manual therapy techniques, soft tissue release, therapeutic modalities, and exercise prescription, in order to achieve optimal therapeutic outcomes. Jennifer believes in a client centered approach to therapy, encouraging active client participation, as well as utilizing client education and counselling as tools to achieve therapy goals.
Jennifer has an extensive background in competitive dancing, and believes in the value of continuing education. She is planning on pursuing her manual therapy levels with the Canadian Physiotherapy Association, as well as acquire certification in acupuncture to assist her treatment. In her free time, Jennifer enjoys maintaining and active and healthy lifestyle running, swimming, and exercising in the gym, as well as enjoying the outdoors.
